Heineken: Branded Experiences

‘So how does a brand, which is recognised worldwide, reengage its consumers and reinvent its story’ asks The Cool Hunter when profiling Heineken’s ‘New Heineken Experience’. The answer appears to be ‘an interactive journey through the history of the brand and the brewing process’.

The ‘New Heineken Experience’ looks impressive and in a time when there’s far less emphasis on branding excercises, it’s good to see Heineken hasn’t let the importance of its brand values slip. On top of the ‘New Heineken Experience’ housed in the former brewery in Amsterdam, it has heigtened it’s presence in the USA.

“Helping revive the notion of classy business travel, Heineken has teamed up with design agency UXUS to create an airport lounge offers a respite from the chaos of the terminal gate” reports Springwise.

The Heineken Lounge opened in December 2008 at Newark Liberty International Airport and offers all travellers an experience usually reserved for business class passengers.  The lounge area features Wifi access, movies and entertainment alongside a variety of beverages, Heineken of course.
